    Shak joined RSEG in 2016 and is part of the Mid-Continent team, focusing on Oklahoma. He contributes to play characterization, company valuations and financial modeling. Shak previously worked as a summer analyst on the corporate development team at Lundin Mining and Harvest Portfolios Group. Shak graduated from Queen’s University with a bachelor of commerce in finance and is currently enrolled in the CFA candidate program.

    Tony Barrett is the Vice President of Exploration for Continental Resources. In his role, Mr. Barrett oversees exploration and development activities for the company. Mr. Barrett has more than 35 years of industry experience in both conventional and unconventional reservoirs. He joined Continental Resources in 2013 and was responsible for directing various exploration projects throughout North America. Before joining Continental, Mr. Barrett served as Regional Geologic Manager for Cimarex Energy in Tulsa. Prior to that, he served in various roles over a 23 year period for EOG Resources, most recently serving as Division Exploitation Manager for the Mid-Continent Region. Mr. Barrett holds a BS Degree in Geology from the University of Oklahoma.

Previously, he was at Morgan Keegan, in Houston, as a Managing Director for nine years. Mr. Chandra earned his B.A. in Economics from the University of Michigan and is a CFA® Charterholder. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and American Association of Petroleum Geologists.

    Greg T. Condray is Executive Vice President of Roan Resources, where he is responsible for geoscience and business development. Condray has 22 years of industry experience. Previously, he served as Exploration Manager in the Mid-Continent Division for EOG Resources, Inc. He has also served as Geoscience Manager for Chesapeake Energy Corporation, where he was responsible for the identification and development of the Haynesville, Eagle Ford and Powder River Basin assets. Condray earned a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Geology from the University of Alabama.

    Drew has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, mostly focused in the upstream space. Prior to founding Red Wolf, Drew served at the Vice President of Business Development for Ward Energy Partners. There he played key roles in the strategy, planning, execution, and monetization of multiple successful asset build-ups and exits within the DJ Basin (both midstream and upstream) and the SCOOP/STACK area of the Mid-Continent.

    Before serving in the business development role, Drew worked in various petroleum engineering roles for Ward Petroleum in Oklahoma. Prior to his time at Ward, Drew worked in operations and drilling engineering roles for SandRidge Energy in the Permian Basin, Windsor Energy in the Rockies and East Texas, and Devon Energy in the Rockies, Barnett Shale and Permian Basin. Drew holds a bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering and an M.B.A. in Energy from the University of Oklahoma. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Oklahoma.

    Derek Detring's career has been fully devoted to energy advisory, where he has completed over $8 billion in capital raising and M&A advisory transactions. Derek spent the first four years of his career at Merrill Lynch, where he primarily focused on capital raising and M&A assignments for large, publicly-listed companies, followed by four years at Integral Advisors, a boutique A&D advisory firm he co-founded in 2009, and finally Wells Fargo where he spent one year in their A&D group. For the past three years Derek has lead his new company, Detring Energy Advisors, which focuses on the mid-cap A&D market.

    Derek graduated summa cum laude and first in his engineering class from Vanderbilt University and attended the Wharton Executive Education Program, where he passed with honors.

    Global Technology Leader for Upstream Water

    Michael Dunkel is the upstream and midstream water Global Technology Leader for Advisian.  He works with clients on water management, including planning, strategy, and operations.  Mr. Dunkel was the lead investigator for Jacob’s study with the Oklahoma Water Resources Board related to water recycling. He also recently completed a project as a leader of the Groundwater Protection Council report on produced water for US shale plays.

    Mr. Dunkel is a board member for the Produced Water Society and an Advisor for Shale Play Water Management magazine

    Previously, Mr. Dunkel was Director of Sustainable Development for Pioneer Natural Resources.  Mr. Dunkel was co-chair of the Energy Water Initiative, a group of 18 energy companies raising water management standards. 

    Michael held positions in engineering management and project management for 18 years at Pioneer, including global projects.

    Prior to Pioneer, Mr. Dunkel held a variety of engineering roles at Marathon Oil.

    Josh Lawson currently serves as Vice President of Operations for Gulfport Energy’s Midcontinent division. Prior to his current role, he served in a variety of capacities ranging from providing technical engineering solutions, leading personnel in both corporate and field environments, and managing all aspects of corporate engineering. Mr. Lawson began his career in Northern Louisiana as a field engineer upon graduating from the University of Oklahoma in 2005. He has had the opportunity to build operations from the ground level in multiple conventional and unconventional plays across the country.

    K. Earl Reynolds joined Chaparral in 2011 as an executive vice president and chief operating officer before being named as the company’s president in 2014 and its chief executive officer in 2017.

    From 2000 to 2010, Mr. Reynolds led the International Business Unit and was actively involved in strategic planning for Devon Energy, most recently serving as senior vice president of strategic development, where he was responsible for strategic planning, budgeting, coordination of acquisitions and divestitures, and oversight of the company’s assessment of oil and gas reserves.

    Prior to Devon, Mr. Reynolds’ career included several key leadership roles in domestic and international operations with companies such as Burlington Resources and Mobil Oil.

    Mr. Reynolds has served on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations in Houston and Oklahoma City. He currently sits on the board of directors for the Oklahoma City YMCA and the Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, where he serves as the Chairman of its Legislative Committee. Mr. Reynolds holds a Master of Science degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from Mississippi State University. In 2013 he was named as a Distinguished Fellow of the Mississippi State University Bagley College of Engineering.

    Jacob Shumway joined FourPoint Energy in March of 2014, as the Vice President of Engineering. Shumway's responsibilities cover the reservoir engineering functions at FourPoint including reservoir modeling, development planning, evaluation of business development opportunities and corporate reserves. Shumway holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum  Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines. He is also a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Colorado

    As Vice President of Commercial Development, Beverly Suffern oversees Black Mountain Sand’s sales contracting, customer relations, and marketing/public relations efforts. The company’s second outside hire, she worked closely with the Chief Commercial Officer to develop strategies for securing three-to five-year client contracts to help drive frac sand sales and establish market share. She has since executed those strategies with annual production across Black Mountain Sand’s six facilities effectively sold out.

    Prior to joining Black Mountain Sand, Beverly was a Sand Category Manager with Halliburton. She was responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the global sand strategy (over $1 Billion in spend) to ensure continuity of supply and competitive differential to frac operations.

    A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, Beverly is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Chemical Engineering.
