David is an Executive Vice President and a Lockton Partner with the Lockton Companies. His Global Energy & Marine practice focuses on delivering risk finance as well as risk mitigation and management counsel to his clients inclusive of traditional and alternative insurance and non-insurance based solutions. These solutions are designed to address a company’s unique contractual, operational, financial, transactional, information technology, intellectual property, environmental, regulatory, reputation, healthcare and human capital risks while promoting the execution of their corporate objectives and earnings expansion. David is very active supporter of the oil and gas industry, currently serving as an Executive Board Member of the National Offshore Industries Association (NOIA), an Advisory Board Member of the Petroleum Equipment and Services Association (PESA) and an active member and financial supporter of the AESC, AWO, DEPA, EIC, IADC, ICOTA, IPAA, LOGA, NACD, NMOGA, NOIA, OMSA, PBPA, PESA, SPE & TXOGA as well as OTC, PBIOS and LAGCOE David is the co-founder of Oilfield 360 Media Company and its “Oilfield 360” podcast as well as the founder, lead organizer and Chairman of the Energy ESG Council and founder and lead organizer of the Senior Energy Executive Discussion Series (SEEDS) forum. David is also hyper-engaged in the Houston community, serving as a Board Member for Small Steps and L.E.A.D as well as an Advisory Board Member to the Insurance & Risk Management degree program at the University of Houston - Downtown College of Business, for which he was the principal catalyst, founder and Chairman of in 2009. David is also a volunteer and financial supporter of numerous organizations focused on children’s education, healthcare and welfare, our combat veterans and wildlife conservation. Three things most people don’t know about David is that he is (1) a pediatric cancer survivor (Stage IV non-Hodgkins Lymphoma), (2) he was a proficient hockey player and (3) that he was a cowboy – both a horseback riding and roping ranch cowboy as well as a rodeo cowboy (team roping, calf roping and steer-wrestling).
